Tuesday we decided to go to see the corps of Lenin. A lot of people speculate about the fact if the body is real or not. It looked pretty real and when we were looking at it, a guard was already snapping his fingers at usus that we had to move along. Outside a bigass womanguard started blowing her whistle when Jeron wasn't walking fast enough.
That afternoon we decided to take it easy and hang out at the hostel and in the evening we went out for dinner, again, at a place called Jagannath.
Again great Indian food with a reformstore which was tooooo expensive. 10 bucks for a carton of almondmilk :O
We had vegetable croquets and I had vegan paella and after that we had coffee somewhere else and making bad jokes and acting lame.
Wednesday we went to the contemporary history museum which was SOOO interesting. I recommend everyone who ever goes to Moscow to go to this museum. Every chamber resembled an era from clubs of elite Russians in the 1800s to real banners of the socialist revolution to the fall of the Soviet Union. We ended up wandering around there for 3 hours until they kicked us out.
I had my picture taken with a real big Russian with a moustache. +1. After that we had dinner at avocado again. We had borscht which is a typical russian dish, a beetsoup, and stuffed eggplant with ovenbaked pear with honey and pinenuts. Nasdrovya!
Thursday we walked around the city a bit and saw an old chocolate factory which wasn't in use anymore, a great statue of Peter the Great. (I heard Moscovits hate the statue because he hated Moscow and wanted to move the capital to St. Petersburg so thought he is pretty douche.)
We walked around a park with art-schmart in it, sculpted animals and paintings on wires and had cinnamon-capuccino and pancakes with jam in the cutest little woodhouse.
After that I really wanted to go the Tolstoy-museum which was the house of Tolstoy where he used to live in, also with the Piano of Rachmaninov but it was closed so it was a real bummer since also we had been walking in the rain.
The cheer ourselves up we decided to go to the hardrockcafe and have some alcoholfree cocktails following by dinner at avocado with Pumpkin salad and risitto with truffels.
After that we had coffee at starbucks and ended up chatting with some real nice epic Moscowan kids.
Moscowits all look pretty eternal-frowned and angry until you start talking to them. They were really nice and some of them also listen to Hardcore.
We had been laughing all evening and making awesome jokes and one of them taught me the cyrillic alphabet which by now i was already kind of familiar with.
Today we went to the Kremlin and saw some of the buildings within. This week has been one whole slumber party so I was pretty exhausted so we did some groceries for tomorrow and now making pumpkinsoup and getting ready for the Sleeping Beauty Ballet at the Bolshoi Theatre.
Then we're gonna hang out again with our HC-Russian streetangsta's, and then tomorrow we' re flying home again. :(
Kind of sad but always a little happy to go home again and to finally have some decent rest after a week of Jeroen-Caitlinness which is exhausting like hell. ;)
